LE DAMOS LA BIENVENIDA AL ARCHIVO DEL ATENEO DE MADRID

The Archive of the Ateneo de Madrid is the organic set of documents, or the meeting of several of them, of any time and material support, produced or received by the Ateneo de Madrid in the exercise of its activities, duly preserved for use in administrative management, information, culture and research. It guards the documents that reflect the life of the Ateneo de Madrid, that life that began in 1820.

Since 2008 the Ateneo assumes its historical responsibility and undertakes the recovery of its Archive through a project of organization of existing funds, as well as the recovery of lost historical sources (press quotes).

This is the default homepage for AtoM. AtoM is a fully web based archival description application that is based on International Council on Archives (ICA) standards. AtoM is an acronymn for Access to Memory. The ICA and its project collaborators are making this application available as open source software to provide archival institutions with a free and easy to use option for putting their archival collections online.
